Gue meramal beberapa tahun kedepan BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) akan mulai ditinggalkan. Gue bisa berkata kaya gitu karena gue pemakai BBM, dan gue lihat banyak sekali kekurangannya. Kondisi ini diperparah dengan usernya yang tidak cerdas. Berikut ini kelemahan BBM menurut gue:

- Tidak bisa di logout/offline. I think its very very sucks! Login/logout itu privacy dan security utama di dunia internet. Biarpun Blackberry menjamin security di jalur komunikasinya tapi tetap saja ga bisa menjamin security dan privacy di clientnya dalam hal ini di Blackberry itu sendiri.
- Servernya di luar negri jadi lambat dan sering gagal.
- Diperparah dengan behaviour usernya yang tidak cerdas. Banyak hoax atau message yang ga penting dengan seenak udelnya di broadcast.

Era Blackberry seakan jelas akan menghilang ditandai dengan munculnya Android. Banyak hand phone/smart phone yang murah di pasaran yang mengusung Android. Kelebihan Android adalah tersedianya banyak aplikasi di Market yang bisa diunduh gratis.

Pertanyaannya yang sering dilontarkan oleh para maniak BlackBerry mungkin adalah apakah ada di Android ada aplikasi chatting seperti BBM??

Gue ketawa denger pertanyaan seperti itu. Jangan takut Android itu operating system mobile yang Open Source jadi banyak developer yang berlomba-lomba membuat aplikasinya. Sebagai pengganti BBM di Android kamu bisa pakai WhatsApp atau bisa juga menggunakan LiveProfile. Ada kelebihan dan kekurangannya masing-masing, atau bila kamu ga puas bisa deh buat sendiri aplikasinya gampang kok. Tinggal download JDK Androidnya terus cari tutorialnya di Internet hahaha.

Update Via Android

Gue lagi nyoba posting pake app WordPress di Android. Praktis juga ternyata ga usa buka laptop cuma lewat hape galaxy mini gue uda bisa posting sambil tiduran peluk guling hehe.

Firefox 4..

Akhirnya Firefox 4 rilis juga, gue uda download dan mulai pakai. So far setelah firefox gue upgrade ke versi 4 belum menemukan masalah. Paling add-ons firefox gue yang lama belum support versi 4, tapi bisa diupdate ke versi terbaru dan jalan normal.

Skype..

Kemarin gue tidur jam setengah 4 pagi haha. Gue ngobrol berjam-jam sama pacar gue, sambil maen games multiplayer bareng . Perlu diketahui gue pacaran jarak jauh loh sama dia. Tapi karena cinta itu ga mengenal jarak maka semua itu ada solusinya haha. Gue pake Skype buat voice call ama dia. Fasilitas lainnya yang ada di Skype yaitu share screen desktop kita. Jadi dia bisa lihat gue lagi bukain apa aja di lapie gue haha.

Gue pilih Skype karena suaranya lebih jernih daripada voice chat-nya Yahoo Messenger!. Sebelumnya gue pake YM buat call pacar gue karena lebih praktis, tapi sayangnya banyak noise-nya.

PS:
1. Hari ini gue ke pameran indocomtech, gue rada kecewa sama pameran ini karena stock SPG-nya gag ada yang bagus.. haha.
2. Gue beli speaker ALTEC LANSING VC4121, suaranya mantab. Gue juga hampir beli iPod Nano, tapi berhubung ga ada warna yang cocok ga jadi beli deh.

Mempercepat Start-Up Eclipse..

Untuk mempercepat start-up eclipse dapat ditambahkan di shortcut > target :

Lumayan bermanfaat, apalagi buat komputer yang lemot

setelah JFreeChart terus Crystal Reports..

Setelah JFreeChart gua sekarang disuruh focus sama Crystal Reports.. Belum menguasai satu aplikasi malah harus menguasai aplikasi lain.. ribet banget.. ya ga apa-apa maklum tuntutan profesi gua (junior java programmer yang masih naif hehehe..) yang ketibaan project gede.. kaya begini deh mengeluh terus hahaha..
